Inventory Control Manager

Reports to: Plant Manager Collaborates with: Production, Operations, and Warehouse Teams, etc.Overview: The role of the Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory operations to support the Assembly Team. This position ensures accurate tracking of incoming parts, proper stocking of inventory, and efficient preparation of kits and materials. The manager leads inventory processes, maintains organization, and drives efficient material flow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.What You'll DoInventory Management: Oversee the stocking, labeling, and organization of parts in designated locations. Ensure accuracy in both physical counts and digital inventory systems through regular audits and process improvements.Parts Retrieval & Kitting: Supervise and support the picking and kitting of parts for assembly work orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.Material Handling & Safety: Ensure all materials are handled safely and in compliance with company policies. Promote and enforce safety procedures within the inventory team.Organization & Workflow Leadership: Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and optimize layout and workflows for efficiency. Proactively identify and resolve part shortages, discrepancies, or process bottlenecks.Receiving & Verification: Oversee receiving operations, including unloading, inspecting, and logging incoming materials. Ensure all parts and quantities match order specifications.Team Leadership & Development: Train, supervise, and support inventory personnel.
