Job DescriptionHall Nissan in Virginia Beach has expanded our Automotive Parts delivery region, and we are looking for a Box Truck Driver, to drive a route daily between Hampton Roads and the Richmond area. This is a Monday through Friday position, 8:30AM to 4PM. This individual will communicate at a high level to both internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer service.Essential Duties:Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendorsVerifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for paymentsKeeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD'sAdvises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenanceAssists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' carsQualifications:Valid Driver's License, with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) in last 3 yearsMinimum 1-year experience driving a box truckAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondenceSelf-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfactionAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructionsBasic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skillsMileOne Autogroup is an equal opportunity employer and we maintain a drug free work environment.By applying for this job, you agree to receive email communication, as well as telephone and/or SMS text communications using an autodialer or otherwise, at the number you have provided.
