The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for configuring enhancements and maintenance in the clinical JIVA platform, vendor management, documenting processes, and proactively identifying automated system and reporting solutions. This position will focus on monitoring the intake request mailbox to address change or defect requests. What Will You Be Doing? Develop and configure sentinel rules, enhancements, and code changes. Changes are required to be thoroughly tested with outcomes documented in multiple environments. Conducts application upgrades and testing to include system configuration, test plan creation and validation. Implements application updates and changes, reviews, and tests each new release, and reports application system testing results. Manages relationship between the business and vendor partner. Schedules and leads meetings to provide support and direction and develops strategies with key stakeholders to address business impacts and build commitment. Monitors and triages requests from the Jiva Configuration inbox to Karmic for tracking. Troubleshoots and provides functional solutions for issues reported or coordinates the defect fix with the vendor. Documents solutions and processes by developing flow charts. Participates in operational workflow validation including requirements, specifications, and gaining end user acceptance. Keeps apprised of standard procedures. Qualifications 2+ years related work experience supporting a clinical application development and support of users in a healthcare or insurance environment required; Clinical system upgrades, implementations, support, and vendor management required Related Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, computer science, information technology, or related field A minimum of 1 year experience with healthcare coding terminology/data (ICD-10, HCPCs, Revenue codes, etc.) Basic skills in SQL or another coding language used to pull and analyze data Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with competing priorities and ongoing deliverables Comfortable communicating directly with vendors and clients Ability to work proactively, and solution-oriented with strong time and project management skills Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as a member of a team Must be self-motivated with the ability to assess problems/issues and offer workable solutions Preferred Qualifications JIVA application experience preferred Karmic ticket application experience preferred What We Can Offer YOU!
