Think a tool built around the storms that actually hit the U.S. coast, with a strong audience already in place.About the roleWe're looking for a Full-Stack Developer Intern to help build our upcoming platform alongside our team. You'd be working closely with me (the founder) and our team on the technical side, with a focus on backend API connections and helping bring the UI to life from the ideas the team puts together.This is a flexible, part-time internship that runs year-round, with hours set around your school schedule. Fully remote.This internship is built for college students, but anyone is welcome to apply.What you'll be working onBackend API integrations with major weather and forecast data sourcesHelping build out the UI based on ideas and direction from our teamWorking with cloud data analytics for forecast modelingShipping features to a real audience that's already there waitingWho we're looking forComfortable with Node.js / TypeScript / React, or eager to learn fastSelf-directed and collaborativeGenuinely interested in weather, maps, data, or building products that matterCurrently enrolled in a CS, software, or related program preferred (for-credit eligibility is a plus, not required)The honest detailsThis is an unpaid internship for academic credit or experienceThere is a real possibility of getting paid through our profit share programFully remote, flexible hoursHurricane Ready is run by college students.
