Quality Assurance Coordinator (Vendor Management)-TEMPORARY
Creating, E-mailing Test Request Forms to Vendors, tracking sample status, interacting with 3rd Party Labs, and communicating lab results to vendors and stakeholders.
Managing Vendor Portals e.g., Trace Gains, Intertek Data Link, SGS ASnap, UL Path Analytics, other hosted Portals.
Tracking and Trending Data from our 3rd Party providers.
Creating dash boards and score cards of vendors and 3rd Party Service Providers.
Tracking and Trending Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) from Trace Gains. E.g., Number of Vendors with completed data, vendor response times, unresponsive vendors etc. and escalating non-compliance if needed.
Managing up issues and concerns to Quality Assurance Supervisors and other stakeholders.
Understands company, customer and department standards, policies, and requirements.
Communicates with internal and external stakeholder's lab results.
Providing Trend Analysis on testing failures, response times of vendors and other metrics as needed.
Coordinate the shipping of samples to US and overseas labs.
Ability to work in a team environment or independently and interacting with cross functional team members.
Having a willingness to learn.
Ability to use company software and technology to manage projects.
Communicating compliance expectations to external and internal stake holders.
Managing assigned projects.
Be able to summarize expectations and results to stake holders.
Review Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) component data and provide input and updates to stakeholders.
Be able to be trained on company systems which are Baan, Oracle, SAP, PLM, & QC Social Compliance processes.
Manage users in the Trace Gains system.
Perform product inspections on co-manufactured items.
Be an advocate for Food Safety at the facility.
Be able to input data into internal and Customer Portals.
Can input, track and escalate SCARS using our Vendor Management Software.
Understand our Vendor Score Card process.
Be cross trained within department.
Work on other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of experience in a food related field such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality.
5+ years of experience in collaborative problem solving and building lasting relationships.
High proficiency in written and verbal communication.
Proficient with required computer programs:
Superior knowledge of Excel
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Well-written letters and emails to the suppliers that contains all the information needed in a concise, easily understood manner.
Tactful, helpful demeanor always when dealing with customers.
Great organizational abilities.
High energy for fast-paced environment.
Able to switch gears quickly as issues arise.
Calm & unflappable demeanor.
