Job Title: Floor Crew TechnicianClassification: Non-ExemptDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Maintenance ManagerPosition: Night ShiftPosition Summary:Maintain all production equipmentKey Responsibilities:Respond to maintenance breakdown calls as facility priorities dictateInvestigate / troubleshoot the root cause for maintenance breakdown callAbility to read & interpret mechanical/electrical drawingsHave troubleshooting knowledge of, but not limited to, motors, pumps, digital sensors, limit switches, PLC’s, VFD’s, and electrical drivesPractical knowledge of electrical troubleshooting practicesProficient in the use of electrical metering and monitoring equipmentHigh voltage electrical experience a plusPrior experience with troubleshooting of robotic equipment (Fanuc, Yaskawa)Make proper necessary repairs for breakdown situationDocument work performed and parts utilized to perform repair through the use of the internal maintenance work order systemProvide detailed pass downs to the oncoming shiftMaintain good safe working practicesOrganize and maintain work areas for a good 5SPerform all duties necessary in creating an efficient, effective, and affordable maintenance departmentPerforms other duties as requiredSkills & Competencies:Equipment MaintenanceRepairingAbility to read and comprehend basic English Ability to follow instructionsTroubleshootingCritical ThinkingEquipment SelectionEducation & Experience:2 Year Industrial Maintenance Degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in Industrial maintenance or equivalent experienceWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Requires occasional physical activity throughout shift (except breaks and lunch) such as walking, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, handling, near/far vision, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbsWilling to work in hot/humid, cold, noisy industrial environmentPowered by JazzHR4yXuWAQ1Zp
