This inspiring leader maintains a strong in-service floor presence, builds guest relationships, and optimizes restaurant functionality. They emphasize accountability to service and hospitality standards, uphold company culture, assist in developing training materials, and ensure adherence to company steps of service.ResponsibilitiesLeads team members through effective and efficient operational execution, including shift tasks and routines as well as proper facilities upkeepContributes to daily logs and communication mechanisms for the restaurantEnsures labor and controllable costs stay consistently within guidelines set by the companyDaily cash management, reconciliation, and auditsAssists with beverage inventoryThorough knowledge of food and beverage menus, ensures that product consistency is being achieved through ongoing training of bar staff when it comes to batches, syrups, and other beverage related productsSupports all venue-level change management activities, ensuring effective and accurate communication of new product, service and operational informationAlways seeking to connect with guests, cultivate relationships, and create regularsListens to guest and staff needs and expectations by being approachable and positive, with an energetic attitudeProactive, quick to react and display leadership with grace, maturity, and decisivenessEnsures guest safety within the venue, continuously monitoring and addressing any foreseeable risks to guest’s health and welfare, as well as food safety, ensuring adherence to all food safe processes and standards Other duties, as assignedPosition RequirementsPrevious experience in the hospitality industryExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detailHigh integrity and professionalism with a positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude - leading by exampleHigh School education or equivalent Understands, utilizes and embraces new technology and its implementation into our operationAbility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as emergency responsiveness as requiredAble to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, and read Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environmentOther Desirable Skills & Experience3+ years’ experience working in a high-volume, hospitality-oriented food & beverage businessRelevant Education: B.S. in Hospitality Management, or other related degree ServSafe, Allergen and ChokeSaver CertificationsWhile we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!YOU MIGHT BE A FIT ON THE LEVEL99 TEAM IF YOU…Like to laugh, would be described as a "low maintenance, low drama" person, have a tendency to have a bit of fun while you workHave a high tolerance for ambiguity, like to go fast, and are excited to learn on the jobAre just a little bit obsessive about getting the details right the first timeHave a high energy personality, the kind of person who is typically smiling, and likes to "get it done now"Level99 is an E-Verify employer.
