Immigration Litigation AttorneyLocation: Seattle, WA (Local Remote)Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experienceSchedule: Monday to FridayNo Billable HoursAbout the RoleQuiroga Law Office, PLLC, is looking for a Litigation Attorney based in the Seattle area to handle litigation matters connected to our immigration practice. This is an opportunity for an attorney who wants to do meaningful advocacy work, manage substantive cases, appear in court when needed, and contribute to a mission-driven firm without the pressure of billable-hour requirements.The ideal candidate is comfortable appearing in court, attending USCIS interviews, and handling frequent travel. This position is heavily litigation and appearance-based. We are not primarily looking for a research or writing-focused attorney, but rather someone confident in public speaking, court appearances, client interaction, and advocacy in high-pressure settings.Because this position requires attendance at court hearings and in-person proceedings when needed, the attorney must be located in or near Seattle, Washington.Who We AreQuiroga Law Office, PLLC was founded in 2009. We are a law firm for immigrants by immigrants, focused on helping clients live, work, and thrive in the United States.Our practice includes asylum, citizenship, family immigration, non-immigrant visas, deportation defense, temporary protected status, green cards, waivers, consular processing, and litigation.We are a growing, organized, and collaborative firm with a strong commitment to accountability, high-quality legal work, and professional development.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in court and attend in-person proceedings as required.Prepare for hearings, oral arguments, court appearances, USCIS interviews, and other litigation-related proceedings.Analyze case facts, legal issues, procedural risks, and available legal options.Manage multiple litigation matters and maintain high-quality work product.Develop case strategies in collaboration with attorneys, legal staff, and firm leadership.Maintain organized case files and ensure timely completion of litigation tasks and deadlines.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, courts, government agencies, opposing counsel, and internal teams.Travel as required for hearings, interviews, trials, and other court-related proceedings.Support a culture of preparation, accountability, and strong advocacy.QualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Active bar license and good standing in at least one U.S. state.Admission to the Washington State Bar is highly preferred.Minimum of 5 years of post-J.D. of court litigation experience.Experience appearing in court and handling litigation matters.Strong understanding of court procedures and courtroom protocol.Ability to manage complex cases, competing deadlines, and changing priorities.Excellent communication, judgment, and advocacy skills.Immigration litigation experience is preferred, but not required.A legal writing sample authored by the applicant is required.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.No billable hour requirement.Health insurance plan upon qualification.Dental and vision plan upon qualification.Meaningful legal work supporting immigrants and their families.Opportunity to work closely with firm leadership.Pro bono opportunities.Professional growth in a mission-driven and collaborative environment.Supportive team culture focused on excellence, accountability, and impact.  Additional InformationThis is a Seattle-based position. The attorney must be able to attend court hearings and in-person proceedings as needed. As a condition of employment, applicants may be required to successfully complete a background check, including education verification, licensure verification, and criminal history review.
