Hostess Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Host Cashier to join our team(Saturday 4:30-9:30pm). In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting visitors, managing reservations, and handling cashier duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and experience in food service or hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to showcase guest relations skills while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently Handle reservations and waitlist management using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Take customer orders accurately and process payments at the cashier station Maintain a clean and organized host/host station and dining area Provide exceptional guest service, addressing questions or concerns promptly Assist with guest inquiries over the phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and smooth restaurant operations Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service delivery Skills Previous host/host experience preferred, especially within food service or restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Professional phone etiquette and guest interaction skills Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving, and hotel guest services is a plus Friendly demeanor with the ability to create a positive first impression for all guests Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $13.00 per hour Experience: Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
