Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator who is self-motivated, a fast learner with high energy to join our team. Skill Requirements: Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry. CNC/Lathe/Cold Form experience is a bonus but not required. Mechanically minded and comfortable with basic use of hand tools for repairs, troubleshooting, changeovers, and maintenance of machines. Working knowledge of part quality and ability to use measuring equipment and record data, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Flexible to work daily overtime and weekends as needed (normal operation is Monday-Friday). Reliable transportation. Immediate availability with a great attendance record. Fast learner, self-motivated, and high energy. Physical Requirements: Capable of continuous standing/walking for 8-hour periods. Good vision to ensure product quality and employee safety. Capable of continuous bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs. Must successfully pass pre-employment and routine drug testing. Compensation: Pay rate starts at $15.50/hr. and includes a 10% shift premium for hours worked on 2nd or 3rd shifts ($15.50 + $1.55 shift premium = $17.05). Candidate must be flexible to work any shift. Training on first shift, then move to second or third shift. Work Environment: Warehouse environment, not climate controlled. Floor fans are always running, and bay doors are always up. Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours a day.
