Job Title: Workplace Coordinator / Event CoordinatorType: ContractStart: Interviewing NowLength: July–December (potential for extension)Location: On-site – Arlington, VACompensation: Up to $32/hr (DOE)We are hiring a Workplace Coordinator to support office operations, workplace experience, and an upcoming office relocation. This on-site role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and experienced in office moves, event hosting, and vendor management.The primary responsibilities for this Office Coordinator role are:Ensuring that when people arrive, they are met with professionalismMust be on top of supply stocking and working with vendors to place ordersFacilities management/operations to ensure building maintenance is kept up withBe engaging and professionalLooking for someone that is able to take on more as the company growsCoordinate aspects of local event planning and executionCoordinate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of eventsOversee on-site event setup, registration, and guest management to ensure a positive experience for all attendeesAssist with office relocation planning and execution, including vendor coordination and logisticsThe ideal Office Coordinator has:Ideally some facilities management/operations experienceExperience with office relocations or moves requiredExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendorsFlexibility to work evenings as neededExperience managing catering and kitchen vendorsCertification in event planning or hospitality management is a plusExperience with Mac, Slack, Google Workspace, Monday.com, or Canva preferred
