Position: Paid Neighbor (Part-time, On-call)
Stipend & Hourly Rate: Monthly stipend for "on-call" availability
White Plains Family is seeking a responsible, compassionate, and nearby resident to serve as a paid neighbor for a 23-year-old male living independently in White Plains, NY. The role of the paid neighbor is to ensure the well-being and safety of the individual by being available to assist in the event of an emergency, medical concern, or other support needs.
Responsibilities:
Be available from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM, Monday through Sunday, to respond to any immediate needs.
Provide in-person assistance in case of an emergency or medical issue.
Help with paperwork or documents the individual may have difficulty comprehending.
Offer general support, oversight, and assistance to ensure the individual’s well-being and independence.
Be within 30 minutes of White Plains to ensure a quick response in case of emergencies.
Qualifications:
Must live within a 30-minute commute to White Plains, NY.
Availability for consistent on-call duties, with flexibility to respond to emergencies.
Dependable and proactive with strong communication skills.
Experience in caretaking, emergency response, or related fields is a plus.
