This includes email campaigns, social media, branded materials, and event support, all delivered consistently and in alignment with Shepherd’s brand and messaging.Core ResponsibilitiesContent, Social Media, & CommunicationsDraft and manage regular external-facing communications, including newsletters, webinar invitations, and other firm-wide messagingManage email marketing campaigns, plus list management and segmentation, through Constant Contact and RedtailDevelop a structured content and communications calendarDraft, design, and schedule compliance-approved social media contentManage Shepherd Financial’s social media presence, including engaging with others and amplifying team activityRepurpose and adapt existing content across channels (email, social, web) to maximize reach and consistencyMonitor and respond to messages received through the Shepherd Financial team inboxDesign & Brand ExecutionCreate and update branded materials using Canva or Adobe Creative SuiteMaintain and update website contentMaintain and update intranet content as neededCollaborate with the Director – Marketing & Communications as a creative partner, drafting and designing materials for review and ensuring brand consistency across all deliverablesOperations & Administrative SupportSupport logistics for internal and external events, as neededManage inventory and ordering for printed materials, business cards, signage, swag, etc.Support internal engagement efforts, ensuring initiatives are organized and progressingFormat, brand, and finalize RFP responses prior to submissionProvide support for award submissions, including drafting or reviewing contentPartner with the Office Administrator to ensure client gifts go out accurately and on timeComplete marketing-related tasks for new hires and offboarding employeesSupport special campaign logistics and workflows (e.g. 401(k) day, 403(b) day, etc.)Position Expectations2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related fieldExperience within financial services or a related industry strongly preferredStrong understanding of marketing fundamentals, including email marketing, social media, and content creationProficiency with Canva required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plusExperience with marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Redtail, and/or WordPress preferredStrong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly and on brand across different audiencesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAdhere to Shepherd Financial’s Work From Home policy by working in the office four days per week and remotely one day per week, unless otherwise approved Compliance with Shepherd Financial’s internal policiesBegin each business day no later than 8:30 AMCompensation & BenefitsSalary plus firm-wide revenue sharing program and discretionary year-end performance bonusIncentive-based salary enhancement for referrals of new annualized recurring revenue from either retirement plans or wealth managementPaid time off (Holidays, PTO, Volunteer days), 401(k) match, and medical, term life, and disability insurance Additional benefit options: dental, vision, voluntary life, critical illness and accident, LifeLockFinancial support for professional accreditation/license fees and continuing education
