They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.About The RoleWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to support warehouse and logistics operations for our data center construction and operations in Memphis, TN. In this role, you will handle the receiving, storage, staging, and movement of high-value materials and equipment (including servers, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components). You will work closely with the logistics and site operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and damage-free material flow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or manifests; document and report any discrepancies or damageSafely unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentOrganize and maintain the warehouse area, including shelving, labeling, inventory locations, and optimizing space utilizationPull, stage, and prepare materials for construction, installation, or distribution teamsPerform cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and support inventory reconciliationEnsure proper handling, packaging, and protection of sensitive/high-value equipmentFollow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, hazardous material handling (if applicable), and equipment operation standardsAssist with shipping, returns, and reverse logistics as neededCollaborate with logistics, facilities, and construction teams to support aggressive project timelinesKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standardsIdentify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyBasic Qualifications1+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or material handling role (construction or data center environment preferred)Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) and proven experience operating material handling equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred Skills And ExperienceExperience supporting data center, construction, or high-tech warehouse operationsFamiliarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software (WMS)Knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, or other process improvement methodologiesPrevious experience handling sensitive electronics, servers, or critical infrastructure componentsValid driver’s license and clean driving record (for potential local material transport)Additional RequirementsMust be open to working either day shift (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM) or night shift (6:00 PM – 4:00 AM), Monday–Friday with weekends included when needed to support 24/7 project demandsAbility to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) regularly and perform physical tasks for extended periodsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periodsWillingness to work in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dustStrong commitment to safety protocols and proceduresxAI is an equal opportunity employer.
