JOB SUMMARYThe pool attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the pool area and surrounding grounds and ensuring guest satisfaction by servicing guests as needed.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains pool area quality standards by thoroughly performing all cleaning duties; blower, pressure washing, litter picking, trash removal, cleaning chairs, cabanas & restroom care, high dusting, umbrella repairs, painting, chemical readings, brushing and netting pool, and completing projects assigned by manager.Promotes and provides exemplary guest service for both internal and external customersAnswers questions and offers information in a courteous manner. Responsible for monitoring inventory (cleaning supplies, paper products) for specific assigned work areasUnderstands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices & ensures training standards are maintained for the departmentCompleting AM or PM inspections and work orders as neededCoordinates with Technician to ensure all water quality requirements are met including, but not limited to, testing water and recording test resultsImplement and monitor opening and closing procedures to comply with safety and cleanliness requirementsInspect pool equipment including mechanical operations and leisure areas; to maintain and uphold quality standardsUnderstand and apply all company policies, rules and regulations consistentlyOvertime as needed.REQUIREMENTS (Competencies, skills, attributes, experience, licenses, certifications, required)Valid Florida driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to pass background checkHigh School Diploma, G.E.D.
