A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Candidates should have between 3 to 5 years of programming experience in Native Android development using Java or Kotlin, along with at least 5 years of object-oriented programming experience in languages such as C++, C#, or Java. Additionally, a minimum of 4 years of UI-based application development experience is essential, complemented by 2 years of experience in built-in and integration unit testing. Proven expertise in writing or editing technical documentation for at least 3 years, along with project sustaining or inheritance experience spanning three years, is also necessary. Experience in project architecture and the ability to mentor junior engineers are highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including working across different time zones.ResponsibilitiesThe Software Engineer will be responsible for contributing to a positive and engaging work environment, fostering teamwork and innovation. Key responsibilities include participating actively in sprint ceremonies and agile development processes to empower the software team and enhance productivity. The role involves understanding and improving all Johnson Development Processes, providing coaching and mentorship to team members to facilitate their understanding and adherence. Advocating for best practices in software development, including thorough documentation, rigorous testing, and code quality assurance, is crucial. The engineer will lead individual development projects as needed, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve engineering challenges early, and continuously improve product features and performance.
