With each opportunity, we take a collaborative approach to address challenges and provide unique solutions.Position Overview:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented UAT Analyst to support the delivery of technology initiatives. As a UAT Analyst, you will support traditional User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within an Agile delivery environment. You'll help ensure software not only meets technical specifications but also aligns with business expectations.This is a dynamic entry-level role that blends collaboration with development teams, business SMEs, and delivery leads, offering real-world learning while contributing to product releases.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, test cases, and scriptsValidate business requirements against system functionalityCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to identify and resolve defectsMultitasking Across Multiple Projects: Adaptable and organized, they manage competing priorities efficiently, delivering results without sacrificing quality.Document test results and provide feedback to stakeholdersProvide project status reportsAnalyze test outcomes to ensure alignment with business goalsMaintain UAT documentation and logs for audit and compliance purposesFacilitate UAT sessions with end users and coordinate testing schedulesSupport go/no-go decisions for production releaseCustomer/User Focus: A mindset centered on end-business users, ensuring that testing aligns with real-world scenarios.QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; or the equivalent years of education and experience required.1-3 years of experience in UAT, business analysis, or QA, preferably in the life insurance or financial services industry.Related certifications a plusStrong understanding of insurance operations (e.g., underwriting, claims, billing)Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Excel, and test management platformsFamiliarity with manual and automated testing methodologiesAbility to interpret business requirements and translate them into test scenariosKnowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) is a plusFamiliarity with life insurance products (term, whole, annuities) and core systemsExcellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to coordinate work across cross-functional teams including QA, product owners, and business SMEs.Ability to Work Independently: Demonstrate self-sufficiency, managing tasks without constant supervision while delivering high-quality results.Attention to Detail: The ideal UAT resource maintains a sharp focus on granular aspects of both requirements and functionality, consistently spotting discrepancies and verifying thorough validation.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits, including 401(k), health insurance, and performance-based bonuses.Collaborative and fast-paced work environment.Professional development and growth opportunities within the finance and investment space.Benefits:Competitive Salary & Target Bonus ProgramRetirement Savings – 401(k) with a company matchComprehensive Medical insurance through BlueCross BlueShield of Texas.
