HVAC Technician

Overview: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer's instructions. - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems. - Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems, using diagnostic tools and equipment such as ohmmeters and schematics. - Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed. - Refrigerate and store equipment and materials in a clean and organized manner. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. - Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a focus on field service. - Strong mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn. - Familiarity with HVAC systems and their components. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of schematics and the ability to read and interpret them. - Experience with welding and fabrication techniques. - Ability to refrigerate and store equipment and materials in a clean and organized manner. - Certification as a service technician is an asset but not mandatory.
