3020201Summary:The SEO / AEO Content Manager owns the content strategy that drives organic visibility and AI‑powered answer experiences across search engines and emerging answer platforms. This role partners directly with the Technical SEO & AEO Manager to ensure content is intentionally structured, mapped to user intent, and technically eligible to surface as trusted answers—supporting core business goals around traffic quality, leads, and conversion.The ideal candidate blends search‑driven content strategy, user‑intent mapping, and AI/answer‑engine awareness, and thrives in close collaboration with technical and cross‑functional teams.Duties and Responsibilities:SEO & AEO Content StrategyDefine and own SEO/AEO content strategy aligned to business priorities and customer intentLead keyword, query, and topic research across traditional search and AI‑driven answer platformsDevelop content frameworks that support featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI‑generated answersMap content to customer journeys and funnel stages (awareness → consideration → conversion)Content Development & OptimizationPartner with the Technical SEO & AEO Manager to ensure content is structured for crawlability, schema eligibility, and AI answer readinessCreate and optimize landing pages, FAQs, guides, and evergreen content for search and answer enginesEstablish guidelines for headings, page structure, internal linking, and on‑page optimizationAudit existing content and recommend updates, consolidations, or removals based on performanceCross‑Functional CollaborationWork closely with UX, Design, and Engineering to influence page templates and component usageCollaborate with Compliance and Legal partners to balance content clarity with regulatory needsSupport editorial governance and ensure SEO/AEO best practices are embedded in content workflowsMeasurement & InsightsTrack content performance using GA4, Search Console, and SEO platformsEvaluate success across rankings, engagement, conversions, and answer visibilityPartner with Analytics to surface insights and inform content roadmap decisionsSkills and Competencies:Strong understanding of search intent, keyword research, and content mapping Experience collaborating with technical SEO partners or web engineering teams Ability to write and optimize content for both users and search/answer engines Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teamsMinimum Qualifications: 4–7+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience for large or complex websitesHR feel free to add ADT standard qualsPreferred Qualifications:Experience optimizing for featured snippets, zero‑click search, or AI‑generated answers Background in eCommerce, lead generation, or regulated industries Experience working within a headless CMS or component‑based design system Comfort translating data into actionable content recommendationsLocation:Our office follows 4 days onsite and 1-day remote schedule.Travel:Occasionally, less than 25%Los Angeles Applicants: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.Philadelphia Applicants: Background checks will be conducted during the employment process.
