About the job Swing Shift Machine Operator Autonomy Staffing is hiring Swing Shift Machine Operators to join a well-established manufacturing client in the steel wire industry. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable, growth-oriented company offering strong pay progression and long-term career potential.Shift Hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday (with overtime opportunities)Pay: Starting at $23/hour, with an automatic increase to $26/hour after 90 daysWhat You'll Do:Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to manufacture steel wire productsLoad raw materials and unload finished productPerform routine quality checks throughout your shift to ensure product meets specificationsMake minor adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain production flowTroubleshoot basic machine issues and report any concerns to the shift lead or maintenance teamMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all safety protocols and PPE requirementsRequirements:Prior machine operating experience required (manufacturing, production, or industrial setting)Comfortable working 50 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays as neededAble to work in a dirty/industrial environment around metals, dust, and heavy machineryAble to perform physical work - standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shiftReliable transportation and strong attendance recordAble to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physicalAuthorized to work in the United StatesWhat's In It For You:Competitive pay with a built-in raise at 90 daysConsistent overtime opportunitiesStable, full-time work with a well-established manufacturerFull benefits package available through our client (medical, dental, vision, 401k)Opportunity for long-term career growth and advancement
