Job DescriptionNow hiring for commercial plumbers in Columbus County, NC! \n \nWe are currently looking for experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our team. If you are looking for a dynamic team to join in commercial construction, apply today!\n \n \nPay Range: $20-$40/hr depending on experience\nWork Type: Full time\nBenefits:\n\nMedical, Dental, Vision plans\nFree Basic Life Insurance.\nShort- and Long-Term Disability\n401k\nPaid Holidays\nPaid Time off\n\n \nJob Responsibilities\n\nInstall, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.\nCollaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.\nInstall waste, water, vent, and gas piping\nFollow building plans and blueprints.\nRespond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.\nPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.\nLight construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.\nInstall plumbing fixtures and equipment\nKeep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.\n\nCommercial Plumber Qualifications / Skills:\n\nSkilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade\nKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices\nAbility to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings\nFamiliarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper\nEffective oral communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted\nExcellent problem solving skills\nAttention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously\nProficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements\n\nEducation and Experience Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED certificate\nState plumbing license preferred\n1-3 years experience as a journeyman plumber\nValid driver's license\nMust have own hand tools\n\nTA Woods LLC. is a Commercial HVAC/Plumbing, Commercial Design/Build, Construction, and Service company located in Wilmington, NC.
