Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We are offering a $500 sign on bonus Duties Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort Answer phone calls and handle reservations with professionalism and courtesy Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the host/host area and ensure menus are tidy and up-to-date Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism to enhance guest relations Skills Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, is advantageous Experience in hotel guest services is a plus Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail Good phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
