Anticipated Opening - Position is contingent on funding and student enrollmentSchool Spring #5681273Summer Program: ESY Special EducationDates/Hours:June 29 - August 6thMonday - Thursday with weeklyplanning meetings as well as Pre and Post-work8:00 am - 2:00 pmSubject to change based on student enrollment; start and stop timesWork Location:Bartlett School & Assessment CenterSalary: BCBA-$40.00/hour(if for any reason the canidate selected does not complete the appointment, compensation will be prorated based upon time served)Organizational Relationshipor Line of Authority:Directly responsible to the Summer ESY Coordinator and/or the Director of Special Education and/or his/her designeeStatement of Duties:Ensure the delivery of direct and/or consultation of behavioral services to our students.Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments as needed to identify problem behaviorDevelop appropriate Behavior Intervention Plans to correct problem behaviors and modify as needed.Provide ongoing training to classroom staff and monitor the daily implementation of behavior intervention plans in the classrooms.Analyze data collected by classroom staff, in order to determine effectiveness and develop evidence based interventionsAddress behavioral difficulties and provide crisis intervention as needed for identified studentsEnsure appropriate contact with parents regarding behavioral issuesAssist Teachers and Crisis Interventionists in development of and monitor discrete trial programsAssist in creating visuals and materials necessary for BIPsConduct observations and provide consultations for additional students and classrooms as referredAttend IEP and other meetings as necessaryMay require home visits for observationsQualifications:Experienced in a school setting and able to work in a team environment. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be flexible, able to pay attention to the overall environment and specific details, and must be able to independently identify, implement, and train others on effective behavior interventions.Master's degree in a related fieldBilingual PreferredBCBA Certification/LABA Certification required.Previous experience conducting behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plansStrong verbal and written communication skillsHAVERHILL PUBLIC SCHOOLS IS A DIVERSE ENVIRONMENT AND IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
