One position will be first shift position, and one position will be 2nd shift.This position is located in Fort Worth, Texas.Summary: Create and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM and G-code, as well as accomplishing process improvements, machining optimization and CNC program proofing. Will also design fixturing, analyze and solve machining problems while working in a "Hands-On" environment.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM programming softwareRecommend and implement process improvements for efficiency, tool life and qualityTrouble shoot machining problemsAssist in first run of parts/programs with shop personnelRequired Skills:High School Diploma/GEDRead, write, and verbally communicate in EnglishOffline CAM programming experienceIn-depth Knowledge of G-code programmingAbility to read blueprints and drawingsAbility to inspect parts and adjust programs and offsetsUnderstanding of feeds/speeds, tooling, and materialsStrong CNC Lathe experience (preferably dual spindle and Y Axis)Machining troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding and applications of cutting tool geometryPreferred Skills:Knowledge and understanding of fixturing, tool design and setupsEspirit and/or MasterCAM experienceExperience with VMC's (4&5 axis), HMC's (4 axis), and mill/turnExperience with Haas CNC's (Lathe and Mill)Multi-axis CNC lathe and CNC mill experienceFamiliar with Fanuc controlsPrevious use of an ERP system for routing and BoMPrior use of Predator DNC systemFamiliarity or prior use of Calypso (Zeiss) CMM programming software
