Residential Electrician

Job Description ProTrade is currently seeking experienced Electricians for ongoing multifamily new construction projects. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in apartment construction who are proficient in rough-in work for residential-style units and capable of working independently with direction from the electrical project management team.This position is ideal for electricians who can stay productive with minimal supervision, understand jobsite expectations, and take pride in quality workmanship in a fast-paced construction environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform rough-in electrical work for new construction apartment buildingsInstall conduit, boxes, wiring, panels, and electrical components according to plans and codeRead and interpret blueprints, layouts, and electrical drawingsWork independently while following direction from project managers and foremenMaintain productivity and quality standards on active jobsitesTroubleshoot and resolve installation issues as neededEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC standardsCoordinate with other trades to maintain project timelinesQualifications5+ years of electrical experience in multifamily or residential new constructionStrong rough-in experience in apartment-style buildings requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficient reading blueprints and electrical schematicsKnowledge of NEC code and construction safety practicesReliable transportation and consistent attendance requiredMust have basic electrical hand tools and PPEPreferred QualificationsJourneyman license is a plusExperience leading small crews or overseeing portions of projects preferredOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunities availableLong-term work opportunitiesWeekly pay
