This role combines field and office responsibilities, including supervising underground and aerial fiber installation, coordinating permitting, ensuring safety compliance, and managing project documentation.FieldKey ResponsibilitiesConduct pre- and post-construction site walkoutsVerify as-builts, troubleshoot build-out issues, and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standardsIdentify permitting requirements and communicate with impacted customersOfficePrepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) packagesTrack and report weekly construction activityManage permitting with municipalities and compile project documentationQualifications3+ years of experience in underground cable constructionStrong knowledge of fiber construction, engineering principles, and dig laws/regulationsProven ability to lead subcontractors and vendorsExcellent organizational, customer service, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and G SuiteAbility to work indoors/outdoors, travel daily to sites, and perform physical tasks in varied conditionsWillingness to work occasional overtimeWork EnvironmentThis hybrid requires work in the field and in the office. Field work includes walking sites, climbing stairs, and engaging directly with teams and clients.
