Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time opportunity is available for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Hialeah, FL. This position spans the 20262027 school year and offers the chance to support a diverse caseload that varies in complexity from moderate to profound communication needs. Candidates with experience in early childhood and elementary education settings will find this role especially rewarding.Responsibilities include:Conducting speech and language assessments for pediatric studentsDeveloping and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needsCollaborating with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate student progressMaintaining detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standardsSupporting students across a range of communication challenges, ensuring access to effective speech and language servicesQualifications:Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language PathologistExperience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settingsStrong knowledge of early childhood communication development and intervention strategiesAbility to manage varying caseloads and adapt to the needs of students with moderate to profound disabilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsThis contract role is open to both local and travel candidates, providing flexibility for the right professional to join.
