Sr. Embedded Software Engineer, High-Performance Signal Processing
Overview
In this role you will advance next-generation counter-UAV radar systems within Mach’s DART team, delivering real-time, low-latency embedded software across radar and RF sensing platforms. You’ll work closely with hardware and cross-functional teams to optimize performance from board bring-up through production software. The position combines hands-on coding with system-level validation to meet mission-critical requirements in a fast-paced environment. You will help shape scalable, high-reliability radar software for national-security applications.

Key requirementsBachelor's or Master's in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field5+ years of embedded software development for radar, RF sensing, or aerospace productsProficiency in C/C++ for embedded systemsExperience with RTOS or bare-metal environmentsAbility to read schematics and bring-up new boards/peripheralsStrong knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, EthernetExperience with performance optimization for real-time systemsAbility to debug and validate embedded software using lab tests and analyzersStrong understanding of full software development lifecycleLocation: on-site in Huntington Beach, CAAdaptability in a fast-paced, iterative environmentCross-functional collaboration with hardware and software teamsClear communication of risks and trade-offsC/C++ for embedded systemsRTOS or bare-metal developmentReal-time signal processing and radar/RF concepts
