Pediatric opening in Novato, CASan Francisco 20m, Oakland 22m, San Jose 60m, Sacremento 80mFull-time or Part-time schedule$100k-$120k Signing bonus available for select applicantsSeeking a Board Eligible/Certified physician who is proficient in Spanish to join team.215-230kIdeal candidate will have direct patient-care experience in a community health or primary care setting. Candidate should have a desire to work with under-served communities and a passion for health education and primary care. This position offers the ability to see patients both independently and as a vital team member in an integrated primary care model.Responsibilities: Provides outpatient services for pediatric patients.Cares for pediatric patients (ages 0-18 years old).Conducts routine well-child care visits, urgent care and follow up appointments.Provides supervision and consultation to mid-level pediatric practitioners working at the clinic.Conducts pediatric inpatient hospital rounds on a given weekday.Participates in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director.Participates in the direction and development of health care services. Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine.Completion of a 3 year pediatrics residency.Must have a valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine.Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs.Current BLS certification.Ability to see up to 20 patients per full time schedule.Prior experience working with under-served communities in a Community Health Clinic environment highly desirable.Proficiency in medical Spanish required.Experience with Electronic Health Records NextGen a plus.Willingness to learn NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) software if no prior experience with software.
