Field Day is Huntsville’s newest 29,000 sq ft playground for grown-ups – combining a high-energy sports bar, a full-service restaurant, and an interactive game zone with axe throwing, duckpin bowling, karaoke, virtual golf, and more.
We’re looking for skilled, reliable Line Cooks who bring the heat — in the kitchen and on the line. If you're passionate about great food, can handle a fast-paced kitchen, and thrive under pressure, you’ll fit right in with our back-of-house team.
What You’ll Do:
As a Line Cook at Field Day, you’ll be a vital part of our culinary crew — responsible for executing our menu with precision, consistency, and quality every shift. From burgers to shareables to elevated bar bites, your food will fuel the fun for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe standards
Maintain high food quality and consistent presentation
Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe standards)
Set up and stock stations with necessary prep and supplies
Work closely with expo and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service
Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and running efficiently
Handle food prep, labeling, storage, and rotation procedures
Communicate any issues with ingredients, inventory, or equipment to the Kitchen Manager
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Positive attitude and a team-first mentality
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
