Job Description: Telemedicine Psychiatrist Organization: AvitaLocation: Remote (Telehealth) 1099/W2/ Different Models Available Collaborative Model: Physician-Led with APP SupervisionPosition OverviewAvita is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Telemedicine Psychiatrist to join our expanding behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care through a modern digital platform, focusing on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.Unlike traditional solo-provider roles, this position is designed around a collaborative care model. You will serve as the clinical lead and providing supervision and consultation on complex cases while maintaining your own targeted patient panel.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, follow-up assessments, and medication management via secure video conferencing.APP Supervision & Collaboration: Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to a team of Advanced Practice Providers. This includes reviewing charts, discussing complex treatment plans, and being available for real-time consultations.Treatment Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse adult population (optional: child/adolescent focus if qualified).Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with therapists, primary care integration teams, and care coordinators to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness.Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and Avita s internal quality standards.
