Wire Processing Machine Operator

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Wire Processing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining tabletop CNC programmable wire processing machines used to cut, strip, and process lead wire and other electrical wire assemblies to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand tools, and capable of making fine equipment adjustments, replacing blades, adjusting feed rollers and belts, lubricating equipment, and maintaining consistent production quality while following all safety procedures. Responsibilities: Set up and operate wire cutting, stripping, and processing equipment. Cut and process lead wire and other wire products to precise specifications. Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production instructions. Perform quality inspections using measuring tools to verify accuracy. Maintain production records and report any quality or equipment issues. Follow all safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized. Assist with packaging, labeling, and other production tasks as needed. Qualifications: We will train, the right person, on how to run the equipment,……but we need someone who is good with their hands and with tools. Someone that we can train and then trust to run and maintain our high-speed precision wire processing equipment. This job requires fine adjustments, blade replacements, feed roller adjustments, belt replacements and adjustments, lubrication, and overall proper care of equipment to maintain both quality of product as well as production schedules. The wire processing machines that you will be working with are tabletop, CNC programmable units. You MUST HAVE A MECHANICAL APTITUDE, AND know your way around a tool-box. Previous experience PREFERRED, operating wire cutting or wire processing equipment. Experience PREFERRED processing lead wire or similar electrical wire products. Ability to accurately measure and cut wire to specified lengths and tolerances. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude. Preferred Skills: Experience with automated wire processing machines. Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience.
