Full Charge Bookkeeper
Studio A is actively seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Financial Director. This job offering provides an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and advance in Studio A’s practice. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
· Overseeing accounting, bank processes and money handling, monitoring the financial data and recommending solutions to improve profitability;·
· Creating strategies and policies for company growth;
· Employing means to keep company costs down;
· Achieving better business practices and outcomes;
· Responsible for daily oversight of business operations functions including HR, payroll, and IT;
· Provide high level support to HR, including recruitment, retention, and employee relations;
· Preparation of company annual budget and keeping the organization within its set budget; and
· Reviewing job proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Minimum Requirements:
· 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in professional services environment;
· Detail oriented, willing to work in a team atmosphere, and possess problem solving skills;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· Good interpersonal and problem solving skills;
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
· Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information; and
· Associates, BS/BA in Business/Accounting, Finance or relevant field a plus.
