Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Contract Management Specialist to join the Government System Contracts team in El Segundo, CA; Albuquerque, NM or Colorado Springs, CO.In this position you will be responsible for leading the development and negotiation of highly complex government satellite proposals and contracts. The position is also responsible for the contract management activities supporting major programs.Position Responsibilities:Exercises appropriate signature authority, oversees, and participates with a strategic perspective in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of space and ground system products, services, and technologies to support company strategiesOversees the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the businessRepresents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customersOversees and performs on teams participating in the preparation, negotiation, execution, interpretation and administration of legally binding contractual agreements of a highly complex nature for The Boeing CompanyEnsures strategic alignment and partnership with other internal functional disciplinesSummarizes highly complex contractual issues, oversees and consults on the development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigationThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts5+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance10+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships10+ years of experience with proposal management, strategies development and/or contract negotiations10+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skillsTypical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Work Shift:This position will be for first shift.At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
