AWS Cloud Developer

Senior Cloud / AWS Platform EngineerWe are looking for a Senior Cloud / AWS Platform Engineer to help lead and support a production-scale platform built in AWS. This individual will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure while supporting Python-based applications, APIs, data workflows, and machine learning inference capabilities.This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong background in AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Python engineering who enjoys working in a complex production environment. We are specifically looking for an engineer who has deployed and managed infrastructure programmatically at scale rather than primarily through the AWS console.What You'll Be DoingDesign, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within AWS.Build and support Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Develop and maintain production-level Python applications and APIs.Build and support serverless and event-driven solutions using AWS services.Work across interconnected AWS environments and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.Support the integration of machine learning inference capabilities into production applications and APIs.Develop and maintain data workflows and ETL processes.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure and applications are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.Manage dependencies across multiple infrastructure stacks and AWS accounts.What We're Looking ForStrong production-level Python engineering experience.Experience building and maintaining APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.Hands-on experience developing and supporting AWS-based infrastructure.Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or AWS CDK.Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, Glue, and SageMaker.Experience integrating machine learning models or inference endpoints into production environments.Strong SQL and data engineering experience.Experience with Docker and containerized applications.Ability to troubleshoot across multiple AWS services within a production environment.Experience working with complex, multi-account cloud environments.Nice to HaveExperience with CloudFront.Exposure to geospatial data or geospatial platforms.Experience supporting computer vision or machine learning models.Equal Employment OpportunityEight Eleven Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
