Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Job Type: Full-time direct hire Job Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite) Salary:$110k-150k/annum Work Authorisation: US Citizen/GC Job Description MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineering and sustainability consulting firm. Position Summary: This position will manage an integrated team performing electrical engineering services. Track financial status of studio’s projects. Collaborate with the Development of the Studio training budget. Manage work effort of group across current projects. Support project lead in meetings. Support, develop, and implement integrative design process, standards, processes, policy, and templates across all disciplines. Promote and utilize software and project management tools: Bluebeam, MS Office, Excel, OneNote, AutoCAD/Revit, and Asana. Ability to recognize design and construction risk and apply appropriate judgement to seek Principal support. Illustrate clear understanding and accountability for deliverable expectations for various scopes and clients per quality standards (Design Assist, Full Design, Design Build, Public, Private). Ability to successfully manage client relationships, staff, and projects simultaneously Perform QC of deliverables to ensure consistent project delivery adhering to standards and codes. Support Principal in Charge (PIC) in client interactions. Provide support for deadline negotiations. Draft proposals and prepare additional service requests. Work with Principal in Charge to develop project scope definitions. Keep abreast of new technology. Project meeting support/attendance. Develop meeting agendas and coordinate interdisciplinary conversations. Financial projection and invoicing support. Assistance with HR management for hiring and recruiting efforts. Participating in and/or conducting interview. Internal staffing & workplan management. Risk management Conduct weekly 1 on 1 supervisory conversation with studio members. Work with studio members on professional goals. Provide coaching and recognize achievement of staff. Lead annual performance reviews. Lead the on-boarding of new staff. Qualifications 8-10+ years’ of experience with demonstrated technical knowledge. Excellent client relationship skills. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred WA Professional Engineer License preferred. Excellent understanding of National, Washington State, Seattle, Bellevue, and other municipal Codes. Previous experience in public work projects preferred. Proficient in Blue beam as a tool for Schematic Design Drawing Sets Advanced Revit Knowledge Previous experience managing and/or leading a team.
