As an Electrical Engineer on the team, you will directly support our Electrical Install team for off-highway trucks. In this role you will gain valuable experience in collaborating with a high-performing electrical install team.
You will be responsible for using Creo, Electric Lines and Pro Cabling for the routing harnesses for off-highway trucks. You’ll support the detailing and checking of prints, in addition to performing other engineering responsibilities such as cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, and more. This position requires good communication skills, as you will work with peers and product groups to develop and review designs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design wire harness routings, support detailing, and reviewing prints.
· Present design reviews.
· Collaborate with suppliers.
· Provide support, cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, supplier collaboration, etc.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience is required
· Master’s Degree and/or PHD will also be considered.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Extensive Creo, Teamcenter, and Fluid lines experience
· FMEAs
· Experience in reading electrical drawings and schematics
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Good communication skills (verbal and written) as well as a great attention to detail
