Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).Key Characteristics Conduct maintenance and calibration activitiesConsult with customer management and operation teamsExcellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skillsEnsure contract compliance of volume and quality specificationsOperate, monitor, and optimize equipment performanceDuties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentationCreate and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performedMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement partsMonitor and maintain chemical injection systemsPerform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirementsEnter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)Other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plantsElectrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)Able to lift 50lbsPreferred SkillForklift Experience/TrainingRequiredEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environmentCurrent TWIC Card is requiredCurrent Driver’s LicensePreferred (if Applicable)Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanicalAdditional Information5% travel (training/other site visits)Hot, dirty, loud, moving equipmentWorking with chemicals for water treatmentRotating schedule 4 on / 4 off, monthly night shift rotation (12 hour shifts)As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.
