Fulfillment SpecialistCompany: FloraWorksLocation: Portland, OREmployment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)Reports To: Vice President, OperationsDepartment: Fulfillment OperationsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Fulfillment Specialist to execute order fulfillment operations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely order processing in our fast-paced cannabinoid distribution environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, regulated industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment & Processing• Execute end-to-end order fulfillment operations with precision and efficiency• Create batch labels for all product categories and SKUs• Package and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards• Apply accurate product labeling for each order prior to shipment• Obtain competitive shipping quotes through ShipStation platform• Generate shipping labels and coordinate carrier logistics• Update invoice shipping costs, tracking information, and delivery dates for orders in SOS Inventory• Maintain SOS Inventory updates throughout the fulfillment processInventory Tracking & Material Management• Monitor and track inventory levels across all product categories• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation• Update inventory records in SOS Inventory and METRC systems• Report inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolution with management• Maintain organized storage systems and proper product rotation• Process materials to meet quality specifications (milling, mixing, blending)METRC & OLCC Compliance Operations• Perform accurate RFID tagging of all regulated packages• Create and manage transfer manifests in compliance with state regulations• Execute deliveries for OLCC-regulated shipments• Ensure 100% compliance with Oregon cannabis tracking requirements• Support inventory reconciliation activities between METRC and internal systemsCommunication & Collaboration• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners• Provide clear status updates on order fulfillment progress and any challenges• Report operational issues and suggest process improvements• Assist in training new team members when neededFacility Maintenance & Sanitation• Maintain cleanliness standards for shipping stations, warehouse, and office areas• Execute recycling and waste disposal protocols• Perform regular facility maintenance including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping• Remove cobwebs, dust, and maintain organized warehouse environment• Clean and sanitize shipping stations and warehouse tables, counters, and work surfaces• Complete ISO 9001/GMP sanitation logs and compliance documentationPerformance Metrics & Accountability• Order Accuracy: Maintain 99%+ accuracy in order fulfillment and labeling• Turnaround Time: Meet established fulfillment timeframes and delivery commitments• Compliance: Achieve 100% regulatory compliance with OLCC and METRC requirements• Facility Standards: Maintain consistent cleanliness and organization standards• Data Integrity: Ensure accurate and timely data entries• Inventory Accuracy: Support team goals for inventory tracking precisionRequired Qualifications• Valid OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with METRC system• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance• 2+ years of fulfillment experience• 1-2 years of direct-to-consumer shipping experience, preferably with Shopify and ShipStation• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Experience with inventory tracking systems and procedures• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team• Positive attitude and professional demeanor in all interactions• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask efficiently• Adaptability to dynamic and evolving business environments• Proficiency in computer systems with ability to quickly learn new software platforms• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capabilities• Ability to demonstrate initiative and take ownership of responsibilitiesPreferred Qualifications• Experience in cannabis industry fulfillment operations• Knowledge of ISO 9001/GMP standards and documentation• Familiarity with multiple shipping carriers and logistics optimization• Experience with inventory management systems• Previous experience in customer service or client-facing rolesPhysical Demands & Work Environment• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive motions• Occasional climbing, balancing, crawling, reaching, grasping, or feeling as required• Regular light lifting with occasional heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.• Moderate hand-eye coordination required for precise labeling and packaging• Exposure to varying temperature conditions and standard warehouse environment• May encounter typical workplace hazards associated with manufacturing/distribution facilitiesWhat We Offer• Pay Range: $20 -
