Maintenance Manager

Job Description Our client, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for their 24/7 unionized facility in Shelbyville, IN. We are seeking a strong, results-driven leader who can bring their vision to manage, plan and develop the maintenance team. This is a key senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. Company relocation assistance is available for this opportunity. ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of salaried and hourly maintenance/technical professionals, with one direct and 30 indirect reportsPlan and execute all Maintenance Team activitiesParticipate in team analysis for problem solving of major breakdownsManage the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) systems to ensure equipment reliability with minimal downtimeCollaborate with production teams to enhance operational efficiencyDocument maintenance and repair activities for future reference and complianceManage CapEx projectsCoordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and servicesBe a strong proponent of safety culture, training and adherenceKeep up-to-date with technological advancements in maintenance engineering Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical field5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentLeadership experience in a union setting is preferred but not requiredDemonstrated continuous improvement mindsetReliability Centered Maintenance experience including management of CMMS, PdM, PM and TPM systems.CapEx project experience Salary and BenefitsSalary Range $125,000 - $130,000 plus up to 20% bonus potentialExcellent benefits including: Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance; 401kCareer - growth opportunities within the organization
