Job Title: Sr. SQL Server DeveloperLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: ContractAbout the Role: We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to join our team and support enterprise-scale database initiatives in AWS-hosted environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams following structured review and deployment processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases in enterprise-scale AWS-hosted environments.Optimize database performance through advanced query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.Work closely with internal teams (DBAs, developers, architects, and business analysts) to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.Participate in structured code review, release management, and deployment processes.Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide root-cause analysis.Develop scripts, automation, and documentation to support database operations.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong expertise in SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.).Proven track record in performance tuning and query optimization in enterprise-scale environments.Hands-on experience with SQL Server in AWS (RDS, EC2, or equivalent cloud-hosted deployments).Knowledge of indexing strategies, query execution plans, and database internals.Experience collaborating in structured SDLC, CI/CD, and code review processes.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
