Job Description About Us Happy Summers Management LLC is a family-owned aquatics management and lifeguard staffing company proudly serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. About the Role We are hiring lifeguards for the upcoming summer season across our managed pool properties throughout the DMV region. Whether you're already certified or looking to get certified, we want to hear from you — we offer in-house certification training for eligible candidates. Responsibilities * Monitor pool areas and enforce all aquatic safety rules and regulations * Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing first aid and CPR when necessary * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment * Communicate professionally with patrons, parents, and property management * Complete incident reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner * Attend required training sessions, in-services, and pre-season orientations Requirements * Must be at least 15 years of age * Current lifeguard certification required, OR willingness to obtain one — we provide certification training for eligible candidates * Strong swimming ability and comfort in the water * Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor * Ability to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer season Compensation Competitive hourly pay — compensation discussed during the application process.
