Project Superintendent (Construction)
Job: PSUP-Project Superintendent - Construction (Operations) We are looking for someone who truly enjoys the landscape construction industry. As a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for the on-site execution of landscape construction projects from start to finish. This role serves as the primary field leader on assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards. The Project Superintendent works closely with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and field crews to coordinate daily activities, manage resources, and resolve issues in real time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced leading landscape construction operations in the field. Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day field operations for assigned landscape construction projectsSupervise and coordinate field crews, foremen, and subcontractors on siteEnsure work is performed according to plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standardsPlan and direct daily and weekly job activities, including labor, equipment, and material needsMonitor job progress and productivity, identifying and addressing issues that impact schedule or qualityEnforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements, promoting a strong safety cultureConduct site inspections, daily check-ins, and job meetings as requiredCoordinate closely with project managers on schedules, changes, and resource needsMaintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports and job progress updatesCommunicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teams to support successful project delivery Requirements:Experience in landscape construction or related construction fieldsProven experience supervising field crews and construction activitiesStrong working knowledge of landscape construction practices including grading, irrigation, hardscape, drainage, and plantingAbility to read and interpret construction plans, schedules, and specificationsExperience managing job site safety, quality control, and productionStrong organizational and time-management skillsEffective communication and problem-solving abilitiesValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience serving as a superintendent or foreman on landscape construction projectsFamiliarity with construction scheduling, reporting, and field management toolsKnowledge of OSHA and local safety compliance requirementsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing jobsite conditionsBilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferredExperience working with commercial, municipal, golf, or large-scale landscape projectsInterest in professional growth into senior field or construction leadership roles Benefits: The well-being of our team members is important to us, and we want to ensure that you feel supported in your growth.
