This role is best suited for candidates with strong inventory control and inventory analysis experience within a manufacturing environment.Please note: this is not a shipping or distribution-focused role. We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience in inventory reconciliation, variance reporting, SOP development, auditing processes, and staff training related to inventory control functions.What You’ll Be DoingPerform inventory reconciliation and investigate inventory discrepanciesAnalyze cycle count results, variance reports, and inventory trendsConduct regular inventory audits and identify process improvement opportunitiesCreate, update, and maintain SOPs and work instructionsTrain staff on inventory control procedures and process updatesMaintain accurate inventory transactions within ERP/WMS systemsMonitor inventory movements and support inventory accuracy initiativesPartner cross-functionally with Warehouse, Quality, Accounting, and Operations teamsSupport FIFO compliance and inventory status managementCreate and maintain item records and BOMs within ERP systemsAssist with month-end reporting and annual physical inventoriesSkills and Requirements3–5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong background in:Inventory reconciliationVariance reporting and analysisCycle count programsInventory auditsSOP creation and process documentationStaff training and process improvementExperience using ERP/WMS systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similarIntermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionallyBilingual Spanish is a plusAbout Star Staffing:A women-powered workforce solutions and staffing company serving Northern California with offices in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Napa, Fairfield, Sacramento, Lodi, Hayward, Stockton, and Manteca.
