The successful candidate will provide 24/6 follow-the-sun support for mission-critical trading and clearing applications, working closely with cross-regional teams across EMEA, NA, and APAC to ensure production stability, rapid incident resolution, and continuous service improvement.Responsabilities:Application Support & Incident ManagementTroubleshoot and resolve application issues across GMI core modules in a timely and structured mannerFollow established escalation processes for incident and problem management at all timesCreate and maintain daily issue tickets, populated with all required information including detailed resolution stepsCreate and manage all incident and problem tickets in line with ITIL best practicesEnsure production stability and performance, as well as a secure infrastructure environmentDocumentation & Knowledge ManagementCreate and keep documentation current on all supported applicationsTransfer knowledge consistently across the team to support follow-the-sun coverageAttend daily whiteboard sessions, prepared with updates on problem tasks and active incidentsPrepare and complete written and verbal turnover with support teams in other regioStakeholder CollaborationLiaise with branches in EMEA, NA, and APAC to improve cross-regional teamwork and alignmentCommunicate issues and resolutions to internal partners with appropriate customer service standards (professionalism, courtesy, teamwork)Work with IT partners to press for process improvements and resolution updatesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to improve application reliability and operational processesParticipate in out-of-hours support when necessary, including weekends and short-notice requestsSkills & Experience:GMI & Core SystemsSolid knowledge of GMI core modules: COPYFDC, BOFSET1C, BMERGE, trade load, etc. – REQUIREDMinimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with GMI core modulesSolid understanding of trading and clearing systemsProgramming & ScriptingExperience in RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and IFSProficiency in scripting languages: Shell, SQL, PythonSolid SQL knowledge – REQUIREDInfrastructure & CloudMinimum 5+ years of experience in a high-availability production cloud environment (Azure preferred)Cloud technologies: ELK Stack, Docker, and Kubernetes – REQUIREDxperience with Azure managed services: AKS, PostgreSQL, KeyVaultExperience with APIs and microservices architecturesOperating systems: Windows and Linux – REQUIREDMethodologies & EnvironmentFamiliarity with "Follow the Sun" methodology in a global environmentMinimum 5+ years of experience within an application support roleProven experience working in high-pressure financial markets environments
