Working at Irwin Construction Group provides exposure to both sophisticated residential builds and diverse commercial developments in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a contract, on-site role based in Denton County and surrounding areas, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on luxury residential and commercial projects. This role coordinates subcontractors and vendors, manages construction schedules, and ensures work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. The superintendent enforces safety procedures, conducts site inspections, and resolves on-site issues to keep projects on track. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring progress, managing materials and equipment, communicating with project managers and clients, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports for the job site.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Construction Site Management skills, including coordinating trades, overseeing daily activities, and ensuring quality control.Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Budgeting skills to manage timelines, track costs, and support efficient use of resources.Candidates should possess Construction Safety knowledge and Organization Skills to maintain compliant, orderly, and hazard-free job sites.Candidates should possess clear communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Relevant experience as a construction superintendent or similar field leadership role in residential and/or commercial projects is preferred.Working knowledge of construction plans, building codes, inspections, and standard industry software and tools is beneficial.A valid driver’s license and the ability to be present on-site is required.
