Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose or Hanam Korea for a Mixed Signal Interface Design Engineer. The engineer will design, simulate, and implement mixed-signal interface circuits, including analog front-ends and related power management blocks. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing circuit schematics, running simulations and corner analyses, performing design verification, and collaborating with layout engineers to optimize performance, area, and reliability. The role also involves writing specifications, documenting design decisions, participating in design reviews, and supporting lab bring-up, characterization, and debugging of silicon. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams in system engineering, test, and product engineering to ensure successful integration and product release.QualificationsCircuit design skills, including strong experience in transistor-level Circuit Design and Mixed-Signal IC Design.Analog-focused skills, including Analog Circuits and Analog interface design for precision, noise, and linearity performance.Power Management skills, including design of regulators, reference circuits, and power distribution for mixed-signal systems.Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture, simulation (SPICE or equivalent), and mixed-signal verification.Experience with silicon validation, lab measurements, and debug using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and probe stations.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for reliability, signal integrity, and low-power mixed-signal design is beneficial.Preferred QualificationsHands-on design and verification experience with high-speed TX/RX, PLL, and ADC/DAC blocks.Ability to perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis.Availability for on-site assignment at our Korea site for a minimum of six months per year.
