An AmLaw 100 firm with a nationally recognized Tier 1 Labor & Employment practice is seeking a senior associate attorney with a minimum of three years of employment litigation experience to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment that values excellence, initiative, and client service.The successful candidate will have substantive experience handling California wage-and-hour class action lawsuits, including claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). The role involves managing complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, and requires a strong command of procedural and substantive employment law.Key responsibilities include:Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadingsPreparing and arguing motions, including dispositive and procedural motionsTaking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and expertsCollaborating with colleagues on case strategy and client communicationsSupporting trial preparation and participating in settlement negotiationsIdeal candidates will demonstrate:Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law schoolSuperior writing and analytical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documents under tight deadlinesStrong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentA self-starting attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamA commitment to professional development and client serviceAdmission to the California Bar is required.
