Summary / ObjectiveThe Director of Marketing & Advertising is responsible for setting and leading the company’s overall marketing strategy across all divisions. This role drives brand positioning, lead generation, digital strategy, and marketing ROI while aligning closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to support revenue growth across markets.This individual brings a strategic, data-driven approach to marketing in a multi-location staffing environment, ensuring consistent messaging, scalable systems, and measurable impact.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and execute a company-wide marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals across all divisions (Staffing, Talent, Employer Services)Define brand positioning and messaging across industries, markets, and service linesPartner with leadership to support market expansion initiatives (new geographies, new verticals)Own annual and quarterly marketing planning (EOS-aligned Rocks, priorities, KPIs)Demand Generation & Revenue AlignmentBuild and oversee lead generation strategy for both:Client acquisition (sales pipeline)Candidate attraction (recruiting pipeline)Align marketing efforts with sales goals and KPIs (meetings set, opportunities created, revenue influence)Develop campaigns targeting key industries (manufacturing, logistics, construction, etc.)Partner with sales leadership to improve prospecting tools, messaging, and conversion ratesDigital & Performance MarketingOwn strategy for:Website performance & SEOPaid advertising (Google, LinkedIn, job boards, programmatic)Email marketing & automationEstablish and track marketing KPIs:Cost per leadCost per applicantConversion rates (applicant → placement, lead → client)Oversee analytics and reporting; present insights to leadershipBudget & Vendor ManagementOwn and manage the marketing and advertising budgetEvaluate and manage third-party vendors (e.g., Haley Marketing, job boards, ad platforms, creative partners)Ensure ROI and accountability across all marketing spendBrand & Market PresenceEnsure consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and messagingOversee company reputation management (reviews, online presence)Guide strategy for industry events, conferences, and client engagement initiativesElevate Armada’s positioning as a market leader in staffing and workforce solutionsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop the Marketing ManagerBuild scalable structure for future marketing team growthEstablish clear roles, expectations, and accountability within marketing functionCompetenciesStrategic thinking and business acumenData-driven decision makingStrong leadership and team developmentDeep understanding of B2B marketing and staffing industry dynamicsFinancial and budget managementCross-functional collaborationPreferred Experience5+ years in marketing, preferably in staffing, workforce solutions, or B2B servicesExperience supporting multi-location or multi-division organizationsProven success in lead generation and revenue alignmentExperience managing external marketing vendors and budgets
