Housekeeping Houseperson - Part Time

The Housekeeping team helps create special memories and a home-away-from-home experience for each of our Guests every day. As a houseperson on the housekeeping team, they are responsible or supporting the Housekeeper with maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel property Guest rooms, assisting with delivery of Guest items and requests.Responsibilities : Assist HousekeeperTransport dirty linens/towels and remove them from corridor floors, moving them to the linen room and load dockClean/dust corridor walls, baseboards, windows, and sanitize high touch areas and elevatorsVacuum carpetsDeliver items requested by guestsDeliver machines, cribs, and air mattresses as needed to Guest RoomsRestock linen rooms; sweep and clean linen room/floor dailyClean vending and ice machines, DVC Trash and Recycle Rooms, Laundry Room floors, walls, and baseboardsRemove trash and recycle materials to appropriate areas throughout the dayUtilize specialized housekeeping equipment (floor machines, extractors, etc.) to deep clean guest room balconies and bathroomMoving furnitureBasic Qualifications : You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this roleStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to speak and read EnglishPositive with a passion for Guest ServiceMust meet the requirements of a physical assessmentAbility to multi-taskWilling to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable using a smart phone for daily assignmentsMust use Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, goggles), hand tools (mops, brooms), power equipment/toolsPreferred Qualifications: Previous cleaning, housekeeping experience in a Hotel or similar environment Additional Information : SCHEDULE AVAILABILITYOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.
